The strategy used to lead this project is integrating the complex to the strongest element in the pre existence; the fence.
Taking advantage of its strong curves, the building emerges through another recessed curve to create an entrance. The wall merges the street and the building. From here, two cloisters are formed, one empty and the other full. The first is a garden, where all public spaces face. The second is the main core of the building. This higher-height exposed concrete volume is surrounded by a skylight that separates it from the rest of the building and illuminates its entire contour. Based on a common base that accompanies the wall and transforms it into a building, the Complex adapted three different uses, but with a unique interpretation of both the street and the cemetery.
